l got a CHl flat iron today for my birthday, l tried it out a little bit today and it worked fine.l later looked on the back of the box and it said In Canada-Not for household use.Why is that? l thought the voltages were the same in Canada as the States? We use a lot of things from the States here.My hair salon uses the CHl flat iron, will something happen if l use it at home?

l would call them to be sure, but my husband is from Canada and all his stuff worked here that worked there no problem. It could just mean that it is just suppose to be for professional use only in Canada, not sure on the regulations in Canada for Chi irons, every country does things a bit different. l would say that it is probably ok though

call CH l and ask about it! (there must be a service number for your product, usually on the box or in the directions)
Im not sure why that is.. its probably not that big of a deal but l dont know for sure :P

Most likely it is just a way for them to push you toward going to a prof. stylist. Might want to ask an electrician to make sure. Also. Mixed Chicks deep conditioner works as a great pre-treatment before you straighten your hair.
