i'm getting my hair braided on Sunday, and wanna kniw the best braids for hair growth. l do not wanna get cornrows or kinky twist so what is the best braid for hair growth(please pardon my grammar, i'm in a hurry.)

Just do not get braids no smaller then a pen/pencil, after this it will cause breakage especially for the hair near the front of your head.

Standard box braids are best. Make sure that they are braided all the way down to the ends so that they will lock in the moisture.

Keep your braids moisturized. Be sure not to have them braided too tight and do not keep them pulled back too much. Let them hang loose from time to time. You're hair will grow in no time.

Any braid that braided properly will work. Just make sure they're not too tight and do not pull them up right after you get them done. This will cause the hair to break. Good Luck
